Garmin Mobile 10 คือ Bluetooth GPS รุ่นใหม่จาก Garmin ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติยอดเยี่ยมในทุกด้าน ไม่ว่าจะ เป็นการใช้ชิปเซ็ท SiRF Star III ที่มีความไวสูง ทำให้การใช้งานในเมืองเป็นได้อย่างราบรื่น เหมาะสำหรับการใช้ในรถ หรือติดตัวเพื่อนำทาง ขณะเดินถนน
แบตเตอรี่มีการปรับปรุงให้สามารถถอดเปลี่ยนได้ และเป็นขนาดเดียวกันกับของ Nokia ซึ่งหาซื้อได้ง่าย และใช้งานได้นานถึง 15-20 ชั่วโมง ต่อการชาร์จหนึ่งครั้ง ขั้วในการชาร์จเป็นแบบ mini-USB

ในด้านของซอฟท์แวร์ Garmin ได้ล้ำหน้าคู่แข่งไปอย่างมาก โดย Mobile XT มาใน 3 แพลทฟอร์มคือ Windows Mobile, Palm, & Symbian ซึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยที่มีซอฟท์แวร์สำหรับ Symbian ที่สำคัญ user-interface ใช้งานง่าย โดยคงเอกลักษณ์ระบบนำทางของ Garmin รุ่นใหม่ที่มีปุ่ม Where to? และ View Map โดยปุ่มมีขนาดใหญ่ใช้นิ้วแตะหน้าจอขณะใช้งานได้ทันที ทำให้สะดวกในการใช้งานขณะขับรถ และยังแสดงผลเป็น 3 มิติ หรือ 2 มิติ ได้ตามความต้องการ

ในการติดตั้งก็ง่ายดายโดยนำไฟล์ติดตั้งใส่ลงในการ์ด โปรแกรมติดตั้งจะทำงานโดยอัติโนมัติ และไฟล์ส่วนใหญ่จะอยู่ในการ์ด ทำให้ไม่เปลืองพื้นที่ในเครื่อง เมื่อติดตั้งเสร็จโปรแกรมจะค้นหา Mobile 10 โดยอัติโนมัติไม่ต้องมีการจับคู่หรือตั้งค่าพอร์ทให้ยุ่งยาก

นอกจากนี้ยังมีฟังก์ชั่น PeerPoints ซึ่งเป็นวิวัฒนาการอีกอย่างที่มี ประโยชน์แก่การใช้งาน โดยจะส่งค่าพิกัดของเราไปให้คนอื่น ผ่านระบบ SMS หากคนรับมีโปรแกรม Mobile XT ติดตั้งอยู่ จะแสดงพิกัด แผนที่ และนำทางไปยังจุดที่เราอยู่ได้ทันที หากไม่มีก็จะแสดงเป็นค่าพิกัดในข้อความ
