iQue M5 GPS/PPC ตระกูล iQue ซึ่งมาในระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition ช่วยเสริมทัพให้กับผลิตภัณฑ์ PDA/GPS ของ Garmin หลังจากประสบความสำเร็จทั่วโลกกับ iQue 3600

M5 มีคุณสมบัติที่เพียบพร้อมในการเป็นระบบนำทางในรถยนต์ ขณะเดียวกันก็เป็น Pocket PC ที่สมบูรณ์แบบในการใช้งานในโลกธุรกิจและชีวิตประจำวัน โดย M5 สามารถใส่ตำแหน่งพิกัดในโปรแกรมบันทึกเบอร์โทรศัพท์หรือนัดหมาย ซึ่งเครื่องจะนำทางไปยังบุคคลทีเราค้นหาหรือนัดหมายได้ทันที พร้อมทั้งความสามารถในการเชื่อมต่อกับอุปกรณ์อื่นโดยใช้ Bluetooth ได้อีกด้วย

IQue M5 สามารถปรับหน้าจอจากแนวตั้งให้เป็นแนวนอนได้ซึ่งทำให้สะดวกในการดู เอกสาร วิดีโอ หรือข้อมูลจากเวบ มากยิ่งขึ้น ระบบประมวลผลความเร็วสูงของ Intel PXA 272 - 416 MHz นอกจากนี้ยังมี RAM ขนาด 64 MB ROM ขนาด 64 MB และระบบ back-up ข้อมูลอีกด้วย

M5 มาพร้อมกับแผนที่ประเทศไทยความละเอียดสูง ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยถนนและซอยต่างๆ ในเขตกรุงเทพและอำเภอเมืองของทุกจังหวัดทั่วประเทศ ถนนและทางหลวงสายต่างๆ เมื่อออกนอกเขตเมือง อีกทั้งยังมีข้อมูลสถานที่ที่น่าสนใจต่างๆ อีกกว่า 200,000 แห่ง นอกจากนี้มีแผนที่ละเอียดของสหรัฐและแคนนาดามาในกล่องอีกด้วย

โปรแกรม Que ที่บรรจุใน M5 ทำให้ผู้ใช้ทราบตำแหน่งปัจจุบันของตนเองบนแผนที่อิเลคโทรนิคส์ที่บรรจุอยู่ในเครื่อง พร้อมทั้งความสามารถในการนำทางแบบเลี้ยวต่อเลี้ยว (turn-by-turn navigation) จากจุดเริ่มต้นถึงที่หมายพร้อมเสียงช่วยนำทาง และอุปกรณ์ติดกระจกรถพร้อมแท่นชาร์จ

Mobile Office
The iQue M5 is perfect for today's mobile professional who wants to get from the boardroom to the hotel without asking for directions. Featuring Windows Mobile™ 2003 Second Edition, the iQue M5 supports portrait/landscape screen orientation for easy viewing of documents, videos, and web content. It's powered by a 416-MHz Intel™ PXA 272 microprocessor, and it also provides the user with 64 MB of RAM, 64 MB of ROM and data back-up protection. The embedded Bluetooth™ transceiver allows the user to establish a personal-area network with computer systems and Bluetooth-enabled devices such as mobile phones, other PDAs, and printers. Check e-mail and view documents-then sync seamlessly with your laptop.

GPS Navigation
The GPS antenna on the iQue M5 folds flush with the back of the unit. Press the antenna release switch, and it simultaneously powers up the iQue M5, acquires satellites, and defaults to the QueMap™ interface. Once the antenna switch is triggered, the M5 prepares to navigate. The antenna can be adjusted for optimal GPS signal reception in any vehicle or rental car. The unit comes with a sturdy windshield mount with integrated charger and speaker.

Detailed Mapping
The iQue M5 comes with Thailand City Select V6.7 in the memory card - TCS V6.7 contains more than 300,000 POIs and detail map of 99% of street & Soi in Bangkok & Vicinity as well as Amphor Muang & major city of every provinces.

Que™ Technology
The integrated Que applications enable consumers to see where they are on an electronic map, look up a point of interest (POI), and route to it-all the while following voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions. If they miss a turn, the iQue M5 automatically recalculates a new route to get them back on track. Advanced routing features include the ability to specify roadways to avoid and find POIs near the current route. The iQue M5 even offers intuitive POI searches that are based on user habits. Another distinct benefit of Garmin's PDA/GPS integration is the patent-pending capability to attach a "location stamp" to a profile in the user's contact database or appointment calendar and navigate directly to these important business addresses.
